The potential role of voice biometrics in detecting diseases

Brief interview about a project being currently undertaken by Merlin and ACHS: the goal is to develop a tool capable of pre-diagnosis of COVID-19 cases in Chile using only human voice as an input. Additionally, Merlin and ACHS are also working together to deploy cognitive-computing-assisted systems to help trace the virus’ spread.
