Language Technologies Institute / Carnegie Mellon University

Merlin specialists collaborate closely with experts at the Language Technologies Institute (LTI) at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science. Merlin are the only company in South America to have signed a cooperation agreement with this institution.

Carnegie Mellon University’s (CMU) School of Computer Science is ranked by the OECD as the world’s finest in its category, while the American Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAIA) considers CMU the most advanced institution in the field of artificial intelligence.

This partnership significantly strengthens Merlin’s capability to develop and deliver exceptional products and services to its clients.

 

Fundación Encuentros de Futuro (FEF)

Fundación Encuentros del Futuro (www.fef.cl) is a non-profit entity that promotes the democratic dissemination of knowledge. Along with the Chilean Senate, FEF is the main organizer of Congreso Futuro (www.congresofuturo.cl), the most important event in scientific communication in South America. In its 10 years of history FEF has brought to Chile more than 700 leading thinkers and researchers from all over the world, including more than 35 Nobel prize winners.

Merlin has maintained a partnership with FEF since 2018. Together, they are conducting research to assess the Chilean populations’ outlook on their futures. They have been supported in this task by Centro Nacional de Innovación y Tecnología, the Ministry of Science, Fundación VTR, and CNN Chile.
